Recently I’ve been obsessed with having a set skincare routine, I don’t know why all of the sudden but I needed to have one, I knew that my baby wipes and my micellar water weren’t doing the job. I wouldn’t necessarily say my skin was terrible but I knew it needed some work, especially my under-eye bags. Their the worst.
Over a recent couple of weeks, I did some research on what products I NEED to have in my routine to ensure my skin would continue to look and feel amazing. I remember seeing a product on Instagram (of course) that everyone was using and all of my favourite bloggers were promoting, The Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask.
If you haven’t heard of the Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask, then your living under a rock. Literally. It’s been all over Social Media ever since it launched, it’s one of those products that you see all your favourite bloggers using but your still unsure whether it actually lives up to its hype.
After reading some reviews and doing my research on their masks I decided to bite the bullet and finally purchase it. Let me tell you something, I can see why their products have all the hype. This mask has literally changed my skin (for the better of course) and now whenever I don’t use the masks my skin feels, oh so strange.
Here’s why I love the mask:
- Gives you instant results
- Hydrates your skin
- There isn’t a harsh smell, in fact, there’s really no smell at all.
- This product is a multi-use product, you can leave it on all night or use it as a face mask or even use it as a primer before your foundation. There are so many ways you can incorporate this product into your routine. It’s just great.
- As I mentioned above it REALLY masks your skin glowy and leaves your skin glowy for ages.
How I use the Jet Lag mask:
I remember when the product first released and I was super confused about what it actually does and how you can use it. As I mentioned above, you can use this product in so many different ways, but for me personally, I love to use this as a night mask were I sleep in it and allow it to do its thang. I apply the Jet Lag mask at the very end of my skincare routine to make sure that any of the products don’t dry my skin out, then wash it off with warm water first thing in the morning.
Do you really need this mask?
My first thought when this product launch, do I really need this? after seeing the price tag I wasn’t sure if it will live up to its expectation. So I left it for a while, to read all the reviews. A year later, I thought it was time to add it to my routine and I’m glad I did. I didn’t think a product would really change my skin and now I can’t live without it. If I go a day without using this mask my skin feels weird AF. This is the one product I would actually bring with me if I were stuck on a desert island, it just makes your skin oh so glowy, and you all know how I love a good glow.
Have you tried any of the Summer Friday range of mask? If so, how do you find them?
